Rent a Car from Karachi to Hyderabad, Sindh with a Driver
Rent a car from Karachi to Hyderabad, Sindh with a professional driver: about two and a half hours up the M-9 when the road is clear. The driver collects you from any address in Karachi or from Jinnah International arrivals and takes you door to door. The trip runs the other way too. Choose a one-way drop, a same-day return with the driver waiting, or the car for a few days. Book on WhatsApp, 24 hours a day.
The M-9 from Karachi to Hyderabad
The M-9 leaves Karachi past Bahria Town and Nooriabad and ends at Kotri, beside Jamshoro. From there you cross the Indus into Hyderabad. Service areas are few, so tell the driver at the start if anyone will want a break.
Airport arrivals, and pickups in Hyderabad
If you land at Jinnah International, send the flight number and the number of passengers and bags. The driver meets you at arrivals and joins the motorway from there. Flights landing after midnight are met too, if booked in advance. For the drive down to Karachi, we collect from homes in Latifabad and Qasimabad, Hyderabad Junction railway station, the Jamshoro campuses or a hotel.
Jamshoro and the universities
Jamshoro, about 18 km north-west of Hyderabad, comes before the river crossing. The driver drops you at the University of Sindh, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology or Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences. He can wait outside, then take you on into Hyderabad or back down the motorway.
Which car for the Karachi to Hyderabad run
Travelling light, you can take a small Suzuki Alto. Up to four with suitcases usually take a Toyota Corolla GLi / XLi. A family of six with luggage is most comfortable in a Toyota Grand Cabin, with the passenger layout and luggage space confirmed. A Toyota Prado suits six when the bags are light.
Time in Hyderabad: landmarks and the summer heat
With a few hours in town, the driver can take you to Pacco Qillo, Rani Bagh, the Sindh Museum, the Tombs of the Talpur Mirs and the Navalrai Clock Tower. The heat peaks in May, so plan an early start and a midday break, with the car waiting outside between stops.
What the price covers
The Hyderabad trip is priced as a whole, not from a daily price list, and covers the car and the driver. If the booking runs past one day, his meals and overnight stay are included. If the car breaks down anywhere on the M-9, we send another one to carry you on.

Questions people ask
How long does Karachi to Hyderabad take by car?
About two and a half hours on the M-9 when traffic is clear. Rush hour at Karachi's exits or roadworks on the motorway can add 30 to 45 minutes, plus any stop for food or prayers.
How far is Hyderabad from Karachi by road?
Roughly 150 to 165 km door to door, depending on where in each city you start and finish.
Can I book a one-way drop from Karachi to Hyderabad, or the other way round?
Yes, in either direction. The driver leaves you at your address in Hyderabad or Karachi, and the booking ends there.
Can the driver wait in Hyderabad and bring me back the same day?
Yes. The driver waits while you attend a meeting, a hospital appointment, a university office or a family visit, then drives you back. Tell us roughly how long you expect to stay.
Can you take me from Hyderabad to Karachi airport for a flight?
Yes. Hyderabad's airport has no commercial flights, so flying out usually means a drive to Jinnah International. Send your departure time and pickup address, and we set a pickup time with a margin for Karachi traffic and check-in.
How do fuel and tolls work on the Hyderabad trip?
Fuel is charged by the kilometre at the rate we give you, or you refill the tank at the end of the day. Motorway tolls are extra.
Can you provide the cars for a baraat from Karachi to Hyderabad?
Yes. Send the hall in each city, event timings, head count and bags. The office can quote suitable cars and group vehicles from the tour fleet. Current Mercedes and Audi listings are for within-city use and are excluded from the tour fleet; do not assume they are available for the intercity leg.
Can we stop at Makli on the way to Hyderabad?
Yes, by taking the N-5 through Thatta, 94 km out of Karachi, instead of the M-9. The Makli Necropolis is about 6 km from Thatta, and Keenjhar Lake, for a picnic or a boat ride, about 36 km. Mention the stops when you book so the longer road and extra hours are covered.
Can I cancel a Karachi to Hyderabad booking, and how do I pay?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Pay in cash, by card, bank transfer or online; a company sending staff up and down the M-9 every week can be billed once a month.
