Mill visits and buyer programmes
A typical Faisalabad day for a visiting buyer is three or four mills spread between Jhang Road, Jaranwala Road, Sheikhupura Road and the industrial estates, with a hotel near D Ground or Canal Road in between. That is a driver job rather than a self-drive one: the driver waits at each gate while you are inside and knows the back routes when Canal Road is blocked. City hire around the Clock Tower and D Ground
The old city around the Clock Tower and its eight bazaars is difficult to drive in and worse to park in, which is why shopping trips there are almost always booked with a driver who drops you at the mouth of the bazaar and waits nearby. For everything else - D Ground, Madina Town, People's Colony, the Canal Road offices and the university side - a Corolla or a Honda City is enough car, and a smaller vehicle is far easier to place on a crowded street than an SUV.

Motorway connections
Faisalabad is well placed for road travel: M-3 to Lahore, M-4 south towards Multan, and the older roads to Jhang, Sargodha and Chiniot when the motorway is not the shorter way round. Intercity work is arranged per trip, with the fuel, the tolls and the driver's overnight stay settled in advance. If you are flying into Lahore and travelling on by road, tell us - it is often simpler to collect you at Allama Iqbal Airport than to start the hire in Faisalabad.

Do you charge extra for waiting at each mill?
Waiting is part of a normal day hire with a driver, and we would rather agree the day's hours with you at the start than count minutes at the gate. If the programme regularly runs past the hours booked, tell us when you enquire so the booking is set up for long days from the beginning.
Which car suits a short business visit?
For one or two people moving between offices and a hotel, a Honda City or a Toyota Corolla is the usual pick - comfortable, unremarkable and easy to park. If you are carrying samples or travelling with colleagues, a BR-V or Sportage gives you the extra seats and boot space without much change in feel.
